This could be orange, purple but my favourite is a full, bright, pillarbox red - which is cropping up in all the style forecasts for this autumn and winter.
Keep the sofa and carpet neutral. A plain grey or cream would suit your scheme. When you get bored with the look, it's easy to change your wall colour and accessories but you'll want to keep the carpet and suite.
